Hi, I’m Moira
I’m a business & operations strategist, and I work with experienced small business founders who feel buried in admin and frustrated by the clunky, messy or manual processes in their business.
I help them cut through the noise, identify the real bottlenecks, and turn everything they’re juggling behind-the-scenes into intentional strategy & efficient systems – so they can spend more time leading, do the projects they’d love to do, and trust that nothing is falling through the cracks.

Curious to know how I ended up here? It’s a bit of a story.
The organizing bug bit.
Way back in 2002, I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a degree in filmmaking – with over 90 people working on my final year film. I loved the visual storytelling, but I also really loved planning the filming days, creating call sheets, and figuring out how to bring the vision to life.
Right brain creative. Left brain organized as Home Edit meets Hercule Poirot.
I moved into events, as an event manager for Earls Court & Olympia in London, and later managing a UNESCO World Heritage site venue. Big moving parts, tight timelines, lots of people – and again, I was fascinated by refining the structure behind it all. How things flowed. Where they broke. What made it all work.
There’s more to life, right?
I had it pretty good as a venue manager with a lot of autonomy. But I also had a persistent nudge to do my own thing, be my own boss. I wasn’t on the right ‘life path’.
In 2016, I began a craft subscription box business. It started with just 22 subscribers, packing the boxes on our kitchen table – and I grew it to multi-six-figure turnover, before selling it in 2023.
From the start, that business was well systemized – partly as I grew it alongside the day job, and later as the business scaled but stayed lean. In 2019, I started coaching, spending more and more time inside other people’s businesses.
That’s when the pattern really clicked
I saw smart, capable founders – people who absolutely knew what they were doing – getting stuck in the day-to-day ‘weeds’ of their business. Holding everything in their heads. Being the bottleneck, even with a team around them.
Not because they lacked vision and desire.
But because the way the business was running hadn’t caught up with where they were trying to go.
That’s where my work sits now.
I help founders cut through the noise, define the strategy that supports where they want to go, and build systems for how they actually work – so they no longer feel underwater, and have the space to think, lead and enjoy their business.
